Nice!
Looks great, a relatively straight-forward to install onto a brick pillar, I even fitted mine with an over-complicated twilight sensor/switch setup. My only criticism is the lack of instructions (the link on the box directs you to their site where they basically say, every situation is different, figure it out yourself), this might be a problem for a novice DIYer. But all in all, it feels solid and is quite bright at night. 4 1/2 stars.

Worth the money
When we bought our house the previous owners took the numbers with them them. Wife and I both have a history in emergency services and know how hard it is to find a house at night sometimes so we wanted easily readable numbers you could see day or night. These were relatively easy to install after picking up the power pack needed. Hardwired them in and added a dusk sensor so they come on by themselves when the sun goes down. We've had then up for about a month and they are still going strong. Build quality is good, LEDs are secured, and the mounting was simple.

Here I'm supposed to rate each digit separately but I am using the "1" as a reference for all. These digits are beautiful, sufficiently large and modern looking. The backlight is beautiful to as it leaves a fuzzy shape around the digit. Never mind the nigh light pictures - it is difficult to photograph taht light at night and I had to trust it regardless of the not that great photos. One important item to watch: the light intensity might be too strong to your taste. I am using a PWM regulator that has a potentiometer to adjust the light to my preference which also saves power by a factor of 4. The entire four digits consume about 1 watt, making me leave them on day and night. You should not use a variable voltage regulator as the lighting with various digits will not be even.

How it works

Pick your digits
Each number is its own piece, 4, 6, 8 or 12 inches, in matte black or brushed stainless. Buy exactly the digits in your address.

Add one driver
The digits run on safe 12V DC. Choose the plug-in power supply for an indoor outlet, or the wire-in driver to replace a porch light. One driver powers the whole set.

Mount and connect
Each digit comes with two metal dowels with wall anchors and two screws. Drill, press or screw the digit flush to the wall, join the red and black leads to the driver. Full install guide with wiring diagrams.

Choosing
Which size should I get?
4 inch beside a front door or on a mailbox post, readable from the sidewalk. 8 inch on a garage, fence or front wall, readable from the street. 12 inch for long driveways, corner lots and setbacks. When in doubt go one size up; nobody has ever told us their numbers were too easy to see.
How many drivers do I need?
Almost always one. Our drivers are rated 1 amp. A 12 inch digit draws about 230 mA, so four 12 inch digits fit on one driver; 8 inch digits fit six, 4 inch digits fit twelve. The address builder counts for you and adds a second driver only when your address needs it. If a driver is overloaded the digits flicker or cycle on and off, which is your signal to add one.
I already have a 12V supply. Do I need your driver?
No. Any 12V DC (not AC) supply rated 1 amp or more will run them. You can buy just a dimmer from us if you want brightness control.
Is there a 9?
Yes. The 6 and the 9 are the same piece turned over, so it is listed as 6/9. Order one per 6 or 9 in your address.
Can I get a different color or font?
The two lines are black Neutra and brushed stainless Arial. Custom colors and fonts are possible on orders of 30 or more digits; email info@jelsco.com.
Can I dim them, or have them come on at dusk?
Every driver ships with an inline dimmer. They do not sense daylight on their own; wire the driver through a dusk-to-dawn photocell, a timer, or a smart switch and they will follow it.
Installing
Do I need an electrician?
Not with the plug-in driver: the power supply and dimmer stay indoors, and two low-voltage wires run through the wall to the digits outside. The wire-in driver connects to house wiring like any outdoor light fixture. If you are not comfortable swapping a light fixture, hire an electrician; it is a short job.
How do they mount? Screws or dowels?
Each digit ships with two metal dowels with wall anchors and two screws with rubber stoppers. Use the dowels when you cannot reach behind the wall: drill 5/32 inch holes and press the digit in, glue optional. Use the screws when you can reach the back, such as a plaque or open wall; the stoppers keep you from driving into the LEDs. Mount flush. Standing the digits off the wall exposes the wires and breaks up the glow.
Is there an install guide?
Every install is different so there is no printed guide in the box. The install guide covers layout, drilling, mounting and both wiring paths with diagrams, and the customer photos above show what people have done.
How do they hold up outside?
The shells are 304 stainless, the LEDs are sealed, and sets have been outside in Colorado, Texas, Florida and Minnesota since 2017. Stainless is corrosion resistant, not corrosion proof. Near the coast, run a bead of clear marine-grade silicone around the seams so salt air cannot reach the wiring; 3M 08019 is the one we use. Give them an occasional wipe. Rust from salt air is not a warranty item.

How fast does it ship?
Orders ship from Denver, Colorado. You get tracking by email within a day of shipping. US delivery is typically three to ten days depending on the method you pick at checkout. We ship internationally; duties and taxes are the buyer's.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Email info@jelsco.com straight away. If the order has not been packed we can cancel and replace it. Once it has shipped, return it under the 30 day policy instead.
What is the return policy?
30 days from delivery for a refund on unused digits in new condition. Email us for a prepaid label, pack them well, and refunds go out within three business days of arrival. Full steps, the return address and what the warranty covers are on the returns and warranty page.
What does the warranty cover?
Faulty LEDs, wiring and finish defects. Email info@jelsco.com with photos, your order number and roughly when you bought them. Surface rust from coastal air and damage from over-tightened screws are not covered. Details on the returns and warranty page.
