JELSCO started in Denver in 2017 with one idea: house numbers made as separate metal digits, each lit from behind, so the address glows on the wall instead of sitting on a plaque.
Early, and now everywhere
We put our first backlit digits on Amazon in 2017, when the sellers of anything like them could be counted on one hand. Search for backlit house numbers today and you will find hundreds of listings. Plenty of them look a lot like ours.
You may have seen our photos on someone else's ad
8494 is a house we lit in 2020. Since then the photo has been copied, edited and used to sell other people's numbers. We report the copies when we find them, and take it as a fair measure of which numbers people want on their house.
What has not changed
Every order still ships from Denver, within two business days. You still buy one digit at a time, so you pay for exactly the address you have. Every set comes with a dimmer, every digit and driver carries a three year warranty, and we publish the limits along with the specifications: what a driver can run, what salt air does to stainless, why the digits mount flush. When you email us, the person who answers knows the product.
